Haltech is a leading Australian company specializing in high-performance engine management systems (ECUs) and related accessories for the automotive aftermarket.
Founded in 1986, it’s known for being the first company to develop real-time PC programmable engine management systems. Haltech’s products, including ECUs, wiring harnesses, digital displays, and sensors, are used globally to enhance engine performance in race and street applications. They are particularly recognized for their advanced tuning capabilities, real-time data logging, and user-friendly software. Haltech products cater to a wide range of petrol engines, including 1 to 2-cylinder and rotary engines.

Engine Control Units (ECUs): Haltech’s core product line consists of advanced ECUs like the Elite series (Elite 750, 1500, 2500) and Nexus series (Nexus R5 VCU, R3 VCU), designed for real-time engine management and optimization. These ECUs offer control over fuel, ignition, boost, camshaft position, and more. They are also known for their compatibility with a wide range of engines.

Wiring and Connectivity Accessories: Haltech provides a range of wiring harnesses and accessories to facilitate the installation and integration of their ECUs. Options include:

   -Plug’n’Play (PnP) harnesses : These offer a simpler, quicker installation by connecting directly to the factory harness on supported vehicles.               

  –Terminated Engine Harnesses : Ideal for custom wiring jobs or engine swaps.

  – Universal Wire-In Harnesses : Offer flexibility for a wide range of applications.

Digital Displays: These allow drivers to monitor various engine performance parameters.

Other Components: Haltech also offers a wide array of other performance electronics, such as inputs and CAN expansion products, outputs and ignition systems, signal conditioners, and tuning tools.

ELITE SERIES

ECU

Designed to provide precise control over various aspects of engine operation, making them suitable for a wide range of applications from street cars to full-fledged race cars.

Elite 750: This entry-level ECU provides core Elite features at an accessible price. It includes six fuel and ignition channels, data logging, and flex fuel tuning . It’s suitable for basic 4-8 cylinder or 2-3 rotor engines and EFI conversions.

Elite 1500: A two-connector ECU, the Elite 1500 is designed for popular performance applications like 4-cylinder or 2-rotor engines and those with variable camshafts. Key features include a waterproof case, DBW control, cam control, map learning, and knock control. It supports 1-12 cylinder and 2 rotor engines.

Elite 2500: As the top model, the Elite 2500 is ideal for advanced performance and racing applications, supporting a wide range of cylinder and rotor configurations. It includes advanced features like DBW support, up to 4 camshaft control, and advanced torque management (on the Elite 2500T or as an option).

NEXUS SERIES

ECU VCU

Line of advanced engine management systems (ECUs) and Vehicle Control Units (VCUs). It combines the functionality of
several components into a single device:

  • Engine Management System (EMS): Controls various
    engine functions like fuel injection, ignition timing, and
    variable cam timing.
    Power Distribution Module
  • (PDM): Manages electrical
    power to the vehicle’s components, eliminating the need
    for traditional fuses and relays.
  • Data Logger: Records engine and vehicle data for analysis
    and tuning.
  • Wideband Controller: Monitors air-fuel ratio for optimal
    engine performance.
  • High-Speed Wi-Fi Communication Module: Enables
    wireless connectivity for tuning, diagnostics, and data
    logging through the Haltech NSP software or the Haltech
    Connect app.

The Nexus series is available in several versions, including
the R3, R5, S2, S3 and Rebel LS, each offering different levels of features and I/O (input/output) capabilities.
